Getting Grounded - Restore
Is the first part of a 2-part workshop series with April Underwood & Wainani Arnold.
In this workshop, April will share with you myofascial self-massage techniques and exercises that restore foot mobility, sensation and intelligence which lays the foundation for balance, strength, agility, recovery & healing. Not only will these techniques help us deepen our physical sense of grounding, they will root us into our mental and emotional stability as well. Part 2, Revitalize, with Wainani will take place on Sunday November 1, 2020 @ 10:30a-12p, and will focus on foot function, strength and vitality.
Each workshop can stand alone, but for best results, we recommend that you do both parts in the order that they are presented. Note: Registering for one workshop doesn't automatically sign you into both. Be sure to register for both!
All who register for these workshops will have unlimited access to the recording. This way for days, months and years to come, we will be with you every step of the way. You can join in live or later, it's up to you!ted to those who register. So no matter what you can join in live or later!

Coregeous® Ball - Graphite

The Graphite Coregeous® Ball is an inflatable air-filled sponge ball with a unique soft-stretchy "skin" that's used in conjunction with the Coregeous® Core Exercise DVD to massage and activate your core and stretch your psoas. This special, soft massage ball allows you to gently and safely access your innermost abdominals. (approx. 22" round circumference and 7" high but can vary up to 1").
Substitutes: The Coregeous ball can be substituted out for a fluffy decorative pillow or any air-filled fitness/Pilates ball that has a removable plug to take out air if needed.
Yoga Tune Up Therapy Ball Pair in Tote
The Yoga Tune Up Therapy Balls measure at about 2 1/2" in diameter each and are made of special rubber.
Substitutes: The Yoga Tune Up Therapy balls can be substituted with a pair of tennis balls in a sock. If you are very sensitive to massage pressure you can also use 2 small racquet balls or 2 Pinky balls.

About April Underwood:

Although April has traversed to and from the mainland, around the globe, and back again, Hawaii always feels like home! April is a ‘deep sea diver of human movement’ and has been a movement educator and massage therapist since 1986 with an AS in Advanced Massage Therapy. April has specialty training and certifications in various healing movement modalities, including Pilates, Yoga Therapy, Face Yoga, and Yoga Tune Up®.
As a sought after workshop and course presenter, April has taught over a dozen 200 hour yoga instructor training courses, Anatomy & Physiology training, and trained massage therapists, and spa staff around the world. Her most popular workshops and training courses revolve around hip and pelvic floor rejuvenation and using breath work to attune ones personal resilience to stress and the emotional upheavals of daily life.
April is married, a mother of two, and currently resides on Oahu. Her one-on-one work with clients incorporate a refined combination of therapeutic movement, body therapy, and breathing strategies specifically formulated to the needs of each individual.
